The Hobo Code is a visual code of hieroglyphics originating during the depression era in the United States. Life as a drifter during the depression was fraught with dangers and these symbols would be carved or tagged onto walls and posts to warn, give information or provide directions to other members of the brotherhood.

This print is an A3 (297x420mm), two colour Risograph print (Orange and Black). Which uses environmentally friendly Soy based inks and is printed on Coffee Cup, a paper made from recycled take away coffee cups.

Risograph is a stencil based printing method where each colour is applied one at a time through a different stencil. As such every print is different and may have colours slightly offset. I love the effect it gives as it makes the prints look like they’re vintage prints made on an old printing press. Please bear this in mind while purchasing.
